On Tuesday, my peers and I took part in the ESU Schools' Mace debate competition. The English Speaking Union (ESU) is a charity working to give people the speaking & listening skills & the cross-cultural understanding they need to thrive. We competed against two other schools and discussed issues of over-tourism and if a tourism tax is necessary.
