Young ICS leaders in Action
Published: Wed 12 November 2025As an elected Youth MP for Redbridge, Anusha, a Year 13 student at ICS, had the incredible opportunity to speak at Parliament House of Commons on 6th November for the second time. She delivered a passionate speech on the challenges young people face in employment, highlighting how low wages often leave many struggling to afford essentials such as travel, food and rent. She also drew attention to how unpaid work experience placements can turn valuable opportunities into privileges accessible only to a few.
We are incredibly proud of Anusha and her continued dedication to representing young people’s voices at a national level. Here is a video where you can watch her inspiring speech.
